{what kind of -ness do you need today?}

THE SUN IS SHINING!!! THE SUN IS SHINING!!!
It has rained for the past 40 days. Yes, non-stop rain folks. And today I see a streak of sun. And now it's gone. I seriously hope the pools of water in our back yard go away soon, because if it warms up {when ever that may be} I can only imagine all the children in our neighborhood coming over for a 'lil swim. And the truth is I'm just not ready for that type of responsibility yet. I have other things on my plate to occupy my time, like laying in bed worrying about how it's almost 2 a.m. and I'm still wide awake! Or getting a little upset that the Turtle Mocha I so thoroughly enjoyed last night {at the early hours 6:55 p.m.} is now something that will keep my big blue eyes real big while trying to fall asleep. Ugh. So sad. This means I'm growing into an adult. Mmmmm. If ever the day comes that I'm not able to roll over and fall back asleep, say past 7:45 a.m. ... Oh gosh, I can't even fathom that right now.

In other news, I have decided to add a sale section to my Etsy shop. I'll occasionally put a few things in there, so be sure to check my shop often. Who knows what Gussy will mark as a sale item next week...

So tell your friends, tell them all!!!

Last night, a prayer was finally answered. I met up with some really amazing girls and even met a new friend! :) This was really awesome for me because until a few weeks ago I knew all of three people in Ferndale, including my husband. Now I know some amazing girls and I can only imagine what God has in store for us. It was a situation where we all knew at least one other person; that totally didn't matter. {Yes, I just typed totally.} We had things to Gussy about! We talked for almost three hours!!! :) Such good times.

Alright... despite my lack of falling asleep-ness ability last night due to too much coffee, I'm in dire need of a few cups of coffee. I woke up at, oh, roughly 10 a.m. and not quite sure how to function this early. The sun is back to shining, which is a great thing because I'm absolutely tired of seeing a dreary living room all day long. But that is beside the point. The point is I need some coffee to keep me going. Some times I like to pretend, oh never mind. Forget I just typed that.

Gotta get my coffee on.
My Gussy-ness on ;)

Today, I need lots of coffee-ness. And an allowance to be extra-sassy.

Great. My wife has developed a place to empower women to heightened levels of sassy-ness. Oh the poor husbands...
