{Gussy's got tears}

I'm sitting at home, it's late, and I'm completely blown away. And that was a really boring sentence; I apologize.

Recently I posted that The Nester featured Gussy {that's me! ;)} on her blog and readers could comment for a chance to win a $40 gift certificate to my Etsy shop.

**********

While I am good at chatting {and sewing, tee he he}, I'm usually good at online research. However, I can't figure out exactly what time The Nester featured Gus, but I believe it was around 9 a.m. It is now nearing 1 a.m. {almost a full day later} and I am at
720 comments! I can't believe this. Not only can I not believe the number, but I can't believe the truly sweet words that have made me puddle up a few times.

**********

Or like ten times, if you were really wondering.

FYI: Gus has been known to cry over things of sentimental value.

Never did I know I'd cry over 720 blog comments, though...

Also, if you are reading my blog AND is someone that has already left a comment, THANK YOU for your support and taking the time to share your excitement over my Etsy shop. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU times Gus-infinity.

If you have a chance, and only if you want to, you can click here and scroll to the bottom to read what I'm talking about. Reading the comments has inspired me to create something special for my sewing room. Errrr, the Sweat Shop.

So, stay tuned that for ;)

Anyways, I am just so very blessed to have this opportunity with The Nester. So blessed.

Remember!!! You have until 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday to leave a comment on The Nester's blog for a chance to win. If I counted correctly there are 20 giveaways to chose from.

BUT CLICK HERE TO WIN GUSSY'S!!!

Congrats Maggie, I would be shedding tears too. You should be very proud! Gussy is going to a new level! So so so happy for you!

oh by the way, the little acorn looking piece I keep using in my pictures is kind of a garden ornament I guess? I got it at one of my favorite denver shops, Talulah Jones, years ago :)
happy happy day!

Dear Gussy, congratulations on such a wonderful response yesterday; how exciting and inspiring! Your name caught my eye particularly on The Nester's blog, because I have a niece named Maggie, about your age, newly married, who lives in Michigan, and whose last name is just one letter different from yours! (She's even blonde!)

So of course, Maggie, I wish you TONS of luck, and orders, and late nights finishing things at your sewing machine. And if you ever need an assistant with a grand sense of humor, our Maggie is currently unemployed!

No, really-- best of luck; it's so lovely to see such creativity, drive, and talent in one so young. Your are destined for great things!

Oh my gosh, our Maggie is near Detroit too. Yikes. Parallel lives! (If you tell me your husband's name is Garrett and he's an aspiring comedian, I will fall right off my chair.)
Best of luck, little one! I am just so thrilled to see your success; may it multiply!
