{I'm sew...}

I'm sew very much looking forward to reconnecting with my machine.
To have my hands on some fabric.
To iron the pile of materials, waiting for me since last week.
Yes, you read that right. Gussy loves to iron :)

I'm sew thankful for my husband who sits with me as I share my goals.
My dreams.
My worries.
My "issues".

I have a mile-long to-do list.

Don't I always?!

Laptop bags.
Zipped pouches.
Wallets.
Some new items.

But tonight I'm going to set an end time.
A time when I'll stop sewing, stop being Gussy for a little bit, and be a wife.
Hang out with my husband.
Relax.
Take a few deep breaths.
And come back to Gussy the following night.

You see, I don't have all the time in the world to sew.
So the time I have is especially precious.

And wonderful.

And just pure bliss.

Last night Zack told me, I can't believe you do all that you do. I couldn't ever do all that. But it makes it very obvious that this is your passion because you never see it as work.

And that was probably the fourth time {ever in my life} I didn't have anything to say back, because he couldn't be more right.

xo.

What a sweetie! High five to your hubs for that! I think my hubs is the same way about me and my furniture painting. After the kids are bathed, fed, and in bed - I head to the basement to paint nasty old furniture :)

Zack is obviously so smitten with you and admires you so....what a sweetie!

Would love it if you would follow up your Blissdom post with some more of what you learned! It seemed to be an awesome experience-and I'm sure the laptop bags were loved by all!

I know exactly how you feel. I love sewing, photography, and digital designing. I am anxiously awaiting a shipment of new fabric right now. Seems I never have enough time to do those things that I enjoy so much.

Love how you are balancing your time. If you have an secrets for that, pass them on. I tend to get lopsided toward one side or the other.

Love your things! I love to iron too! Removing Valentine's fabric and re-stocking the shelf so I can see what fabric I need to use next! I love the connection my machine and I have! ahhhh... ;)
