We had fun sharing head phones, sleeping in a Princess bedroom {thanks cousin Hannah!}, and eating lots of yummy food. Also, I can't forget about watching Napoleon Dynamite with my family and laughing with my cousins as they play in the snow {some of my cousins are from Florida and Georgia}.

We arrived back home after a few days of being away and the big city was absolutely gorgeous! It welcomed us home with blue sky and bright sunlight.

Anyways, since we were unexpectedly gone for Valentine's Day, Zack re-scheduled our V-day dinner reservations for Tuesday night. We went to Buca di Beppo Italian Restaurant in downtown Minneapolis. AMAZING!!! AMAZING!!! I'm not going to type all that we ate... hah! Everything was super delish though :)

those pics are great and you guys are so cute. there was a Buca di Beppo in Los Angeles...i lived there once upon a time -delish! for our v-day...we handed out gifts to each other sunday morning...kid's included. my husband helped me clean and organize my sewing room AND made dinner for all his girls. simple and sweet.
You make me miss Minneapolis!!! My husband and I ate our weight in sushi for Valentines day!! Maybe not our weight, but it was a lot and I was stuffed and VERY happy!!
My sweetheart and I were helping out at a youth group-sponsored dessert cafe for Valentine's Day, but we stopped long enough to order some dessert and have a fun little mini-date. :)
My husband and I didn't go anywhere, but he did spoil me rotten. He bought me a new camera, necklace, roses, chocolates & a really pretty dress form to show off my aprons in my shop! I am a blessed woman!! Have a wonderful day!

Love Buca-my brother was a busboy at our local Buca many a years ago and I would love going in-the food is fab & there is SO much of it.
We didn't do much-took the teenager boot shopping only to realize unless we wanted to buy a swimsuit we were out of luck. There is so much snow here, but yet there is nary a cold weather item to be found.
We went to Buca's, too! :) Hey- My grandparent's all live in IN, too- LaPorte. It's a small, small world, Gussy girl. ;) I have a good feeling that we really will get to meet some day.
Ours is going to be belated as well. We had no one to watch Mr.C so we ate dinner as a family and then Mr.Wonderful and I cuddled in bed. I loved it just the same...now we are sick :( but when we feel better there is a hot date to come!
yummm, i LOVE buca di beppo!! when i was in las vegas, the whole family went there & we literally had EVERYTHING on the menu!! it was ridiculous. sooo delicious though!
we have a buca here, too. it's a great place for when family comes to visit because the portions are so large.
this valentine's day me and the beau had valentine's on saturday. we went to the farmer's market, went out to eat (twice) and went to this cool art display in a guy's back yard (gotta love austin.)
We had planned to go to downtown Chicago but instead my hubby woke me up with flowers and chocolate and then cooked 2 delicious meals at home. Perfect!
