{quiet time}
I just love this little piece of embroidery. I've been taking a lot more time for myself lately -- I hope I'm not taking too much time. hah! It has been really great. And I've been drinking more tea {peach, blueberry}, too.
What do you do during your quiet time?
Or, what do you do to relax? :)
I'd love if you shared...

I could peruse flickr or hobby lobby for hours. :) Something about all of the creative beauty just makes me happy and content. Ok, and a little upset that I don't actually act on my creative impulses very often. Mostly happy, though. :)
I have been reading the Bible in 90 days, so currently ALL my extra time is spent reading.
I generally take some quiet time every night - after the family goes to bed, the house is dark, and I'm actually by myself. I read, sometimes listen to soft music (like classical piano or instrumentals), do some journaling. It's probably my favorite time of the day because it's time just for me.
I've been eating The Host by Stephanie Meyer and I love it. I also sit in my basement a lot and paint furniture.
My favorite thing to do is go to the coffee shop by my house and work (if I must) or read. I am also trying to journal more. Mostly, I just soak in the sound of the quiet!
I love to just read in my quiet time. I knit & sew but right now my craft room is scary and I am working to clear it out and make it useable. I have curtains to make and dresses to sew so I need to be able to get in there.
I have seen that embroidery, it couldn't be more true! I don't get a lot of quiet time anymore, but when the baby is sleeping I am knitting, that is my escape, I can get lost in the colors and textures of all of my yarn! Have a quiet and relaxing evening!

I like to get a cup of hot tea curl up in my chair and read a good book or watch some bad TV :)
love a cup of tea and a good mag. to look at...just not think about life...and i love going on vacation and finding a really quite spot in the sun for the day!
Oh goodness... I am *lovin* that piece of embroidery! It's adorable!! I love to sit with a good magazine and look through all the inspiration!
black or green kombucha tea and bubble baths:)
lately, napping!
Curl up on my big comfy couch with a hot cup of tea (or a glass of wine!), some music playing through the speakers, and a good book. On a particularly busy day, I like to do all of the above, except change the location to my bathtub :)
My quiet time is the last hour or so before bedtime - after the kids are asleep and after spending 2-3 hours fulfilling orders from etsy.
I catch up on my reading. But it is hard to do more than a chapter or two because it is usually around 11:00 - 11:30 at night. But reading is essential to me.
Sit on the couch, pull up an ottoman, grab a hot cup of coffee, pull the drapes and turn on an old Doris Day movie. Or Mary Poppins....
So pretty...
I crochet. Or read. Usually curled up on the couch with a toss throw and coffee to sip from a favorite mug.
I work on embroidery and drink rose tea. Oh and eat a little chocolate :)

I have curtains to make and dresses to sew so I need to be able to get in there.
Work from home India
yoga is a very relaxing place for me
Honestly, my quiet time is when I rock my 10 month old daughter to sleep at night. The moment that she lays her head on my shoulder and relaxes, all my cares and worries melt away.
two of my FAV stores...Gussy and Vintage Pearl at the same time....can't hardly stand it!
I saw your giveaway on The Vintage Pearl today! Gussy giveaways always make me excited!

Gorgeous piece, I love to sit back and just enjoy the sunshine outside (granted when there IS sunshine outside) and just watch my little one play!
