Here at Gussy has a lot to say we love to look at all things beautiful. Beautiful home decor, beautiful knitted pretties, beautiful stories about family life.
Today marks week #2 of my series on featured Etsy artists. It is my goal to introduce some drool-worthy eye-candy. Over the next few months I'll be showcasing hand-selected Etsy artists that offer products that I think will appeal to you, my readers :) Please join me in welcoming Erin at ElmStudiosOnline.

What inspires you? My children are definitely the main source of all my inspiration. Everything I do, I do for them!
Where do you call home? Are you from there originally? Buffalo, NY is the place I call home. I grew up here and I'm raising my children here. Family is very important to me, so unless they move, I plan on sticking around.
Name something unique to where you live. I'd probably have to say Niagara Falls. I mean, it's one of the 7 wonders. Living so close to it, I probably take it for granted, but it definitely puts us on the map.
Share an interesting fact about yourself. My husband left, and I am determined to make Elm Studios work so I can continue stay home with my children.
If you had to describe yourself in a word, what would that word be? Sweet.
What made you decide to open up shop? Ever since I was in high school I used to tell my best friend that I was going to open a shop after my initials. I wasn't sure if it was going to be a coffee shop, a floral shop, or something else. I picked "Studios" figuring it gave me the option to grow.
Name your favorite thing about selling handmade. My favorite thing about selling handmade would be how special the product is. It's not manufactured, it's personally made for the person... doesn't get more special than that!
Do you have a day job or sell on Etsy full-time? Right now, I sell on Etsy full-time.
Give us a little glimpse into what a typical day in your life looks like. In the morning I get my 4-year-old ready for preschool, run around until 9:30, come back here with my 2-year-old and package for shipping, run to the post-office, pick up my 4-year-old, eat lunch, "quiet time" {which means I get my work done :)} And then hopefully some quality play time with the girls. At night, after I put them to bed, I work until I'm caught up.
Share with us a favorite Etsy purchase or shop. I love esdesigns {jewelry}. Haven't bought anything yet, but maybe I'll treat myself for Christmas :)
List a few of your most favorite pastimes. Favorite pastimes would be spending time with family and friends, getting out and going to dinner, and just laughing. Life's too short not to laugh!
Read any good books lately? The Time Travelers Wife -- excellent book!
What is your most prized possession? I don't really have a favorite prized possession, haha, besides my girls. I do have a wolf that my grandpa carved for me that means a lot to me.
What are three of your favorite foods? Pizza, homemade apple pie, and sushi.
What would you like to learn to do? Speak another language. I took French in high school, but it never stuck.
What are you listening to right now? Madagascar 2 is in the back ground; my 4-year-old is enjoying "quiet time" :)
Name one place you must visit in your lifetime and why. I would absolutely love to visit Ireland. I have no reasoning behind this, it just looks peaceful and beautiful. Would love to see it in person!
